Life has been moving slowly since the Fall, and I’ve been enjoying my mornings at cafes. It was my dream at one point to start the morning at a super hip cafe, sipping a delicious cup of coffee, and having a relaxing laptop time. I’ve been accomplishing that small dream but trying out cafes in Brooklyn. Yes, this is a beauty blog but it’s also a lifestyle blog and I thought if any of you are in the area, you’d might want to try these places!
I’ve been planning this for awhile! Click this link to access my small blogsale online store. There is only one product listed right now (MAC Blush in Well Dressed), but I will continuously update the store with new or almost new (gently used) makeup products. Because I buy and try out so much makeup, there are times when I need to do a clear out. I won’t be selling overused products, but ones that are just gently used! I eventually want to get to a point where I can sell even new products, specially curated for my readers – products I can trust and recommend to my readers. But first I want to see how this goes! And just in case you are worried about buying “used” makeup, which I know can be an issue, I want you to know that I will sanitize everything I sell with a verified ProHygiene Antibacterial Makeup Spray.
I’ve been appreciating cushion foundations for awhile now. You can read more about my thoughts on them, and what my favorite ones are, here and here. But today’s post is about how you can make your own cushion foundation. What’s the benefit of that you say? Well, if you are a foundation-mixer (someone who loves mixing foundations), and/or you are someone who loves a bit of touch-up throughout the day, and/or you’ve always found that the cushion foundations out there in the market are just not what you are looking for – then this is the solution for you! I’ve created my own cushion using Memebox‘s I’m Cushion product. With the product comes the instruction of how to make your own!
At the end of the year it is particularly hard to resist the temptation of buying things. With constant notifications of sales going on, I kind of gave in – especially on Memebox‘s website. I’ve shopped on Memebox website before when I purchased Pony‘s Eye palettes. They sell all sorts of brands, and they even have their own line called the I’m Series. They also collab with a lot of famous beauty Youtubers to create specially designed boxes, palettes, etc.,
