The Estee Edit⎜New Beauty Brand

I’ve been very keen on the development of The Estee Edit because 1) I love Estee Lauder as a brand, 2) because I love Irene Kim (ireneisgood on Instagram), and finally 3) it’s Kendall Jenner. All that put together was a good enough reason to pick up a few things when they finally were brought out in Sephora

So, here’s what I picked up:

  1. Rescue Balm for Face & Body – This is my absolute favorite so far. I’ve been obsessed with balms in general, but most of them were oil-like consistencies. I picked this one up, thinking it’d be like the rest, but found it to look and feel more like a cream/moisturizer than anything else! Then I took one nice sweep of this and dissolved it on the back of my hands… and seriously, so nourishing. And then, it completely vanishes! It leaves all but this beautiful glow, and my hands felt so soft and hydrated. I had to give this a go. So far, I’ve been loving it to pieces. I have super, super oily skin – but this does not break me out at all, nor does it make me extra oil. It simply nourishes and leaves a glow! This thing really sinks deep into the skin. I highly recommend for all skin types! (Going to add this to my favorites post coming up!) Here’s what they say:

Rescue Balm for Face + Body is an allover oil-infused cream to deeply nourish skin. This formula is packed with over 20 percent fruit and nut oils—including coconut, avocado, and mango—to drench skin with moisture and nutrients. Use it to moisturize cuticles, elbows, and any other rough patches for smooth, hydrated skin.

  2. Pore Vanishing Stick – Oily skin problems. Anything that will help me control my oil and help my makeup last throughout the day! I picked this up mainly because of the great reviews on Sephora. I have yet to form a complete opinion on it! Here’s what they say:

Pore Vanishing Stick blurs the look of pores, creates an even skintone, and minimizes shine and oil—sans mess or fuss. The dual-action, convenient stick contains a tinted inner core to help assure the formula is universal for all skintones, and is surrounded by an outer ring that shuts down shine with oil-absorbing powders. Use it alone for a naturally flawless look, or apply it either under or over your makeup for a velvety smooth finish.

  3. Sample of the Dissolve the Drama (2-in-1 Makeup Remover) – I have multiple samples of this, using my Sephora beauty points. I love it! It really dissolves every waterproof makeup, so easily and so efficiently. Usually when I use oil cleanser, it leaves this film on the skin. Not with this one! It completely dissolves with water and I don’t even feel like I need to double-cleanse. This really does the job! Here’s what they say:

This cleansing formula is enriched with jojoba oil, aloe, and cucumber—soothing skin as it gently yet thoroughly removes all traces of makeup, including pigmented and long-wear. When you add water, this luxe oil turns into a milky cleanser that rinses cleanly away, leaving skin clear, soft, and glowing.

There are so much more I want to try, especially from their makeup range.
